I've used these for a few years on all three of my vehicles.They were great for a while, but they can get difficult to see whether it is green, yellow, or red with brake dust and condensation inside.On one of my cars, I heard a noise when I was moving on the front driver's side, so I replaced the caliper and bearing, but the noise persisted.Thanks to my incredibly smart mechanic, he found that the noise was the tire because the pressure was low --- BUT the Tire Minder was green.I just bought a plastic set with a different design at Advance Auto Parts, so the testing begins.
[Update 4/19/06] I bought that plastic set and the tire service place had to replace the valve stem because the plastic thing melted to the valve stem.Oh well, back to manually checking pressures.:(
