We've used both the 1980s BMW flip-ups and previous Shoei versions. This new one fits SOOOO much better than all the previous ones, and has such flexibility for the installation of communications units. Those of us who wear glasses really like this concept for a helmet. A recent fall down showed me it works for great protection.
