Very comfortable, all day.Light weight.Low noise at speed - my friends wear earplugs, I don't.The vents work as promised and are easy to use.

Impact foam is throughout the interior, including the ear wells and the chin guard.The padding is soft, comfortable, removable, and you can switch it around for a more comfortable fit.The quality of the shell is striking.Putting this helmet side by side with helmets from other, cheaper brands will make you afraid for all those riders who trust their noggins to the competition.Yes, these are expensive.But, there is no question where the money went.

Before buying this helmet, I had tried several different brands in a local motorcylce shop and found all of them extremely uncomfortable, because of the fullness of my face (slightly round-face).Regardless, I knew I needed a full face helmet and decided to try this one.I have been extremely happy with this helmet.It is much more comfortable than the ones I had previously tried. Since I was on the edge between medium and large, I opted for large and it fits well and again is extremely comfortable.I highly recommend this product.

Can "Sweeeet" be a review? In this case I think so. It's a well designed comfortable helmet with high visibility (think orange). Other less expensive helmets just don't have the robust design. Thicker guide tabs on the face shield and better hardware all around. Highly recommend.

I bought this helmet from an on line company about a month ago. The fit and finish are great. The color is beautiful. The helmet fits great and wears comfortably. There is only one major problem. It shakes so bad in the wind that you can't focus at speeds above 50 MPH, especially if there is a little cross wind added in. The aerodynamics are horrible. I ride a 2009 HD Ultra Classic with the stock windshield. If I open the fairing vents to push air on me (a requirement in the Texas summer) the helmet shakes my head so bad that you can't focus in any direction. I was very dissappointed with this because otherwise I really like the helmet. But this one issue makes me not want to wear it at all. If I flip the shield down on the hightway, every once in a while the wind will blow it up. The flip down "pilot" sun visor works well and does a good job helping when riding in to the sunset. I have not tried the helmet on a bike without a windshield to see how it does in the open wind, but intend to do so. My daughter has a sporster so I'll try it out soon and let you know how that works out. According to the literature it is supposed to be "wind tunnel tested" but I just don't see how, maybe they tested it on a crash test dummy!

This is a great hot weather motorcycle helmet.I have also tried the FS-3, but couldn't get along with it due to the pressure of the plastic covering the ears.The FS-2 however does not have this problem and permits the placement of speakers into the ear pads.The ventillation system can be swithched on, off, or regulated to suit.Works very well.Have used this helmet for several months now and intend to buy another.My wife kind of acquired mine because she also found it to be more comfortable than the one she had originally selected.

My previous helmet was a low buck, no frills HJC.When the inside (not removeable) started turning green, I figured it was time to splurge and get a helmet with not only a removable liner, but also some cool features.Since I wear sunglasses under an untinted screen, I though this integrated visor thing would be awesome.Now, like a dummy, I bought this helmet online (not from Amazon) without ever trying one on.I have three big complaints.One; my previous helmet was a XXL so I bought this in XXL but it's way too small.Two; the vent controls are exceptionally difficult to manipulate with gloves while riding.Three; the tinted visor, the whole reason I bought the helmet, doesn't drop down nearly far enough, not even close.Reflected light, or even direct sunlight if it's low on the horizon, gets directly into my eyes.If you try one of these on in a store and find you don't have the same problems I did, then ignore my review.But if you plan on ordering one without trying it on, be forewarned.

I've had an HJC Symax helmet for about a year and a half now, and have been very happy with it.It's protected me well in two falls - (1) I went down very hard on concrete at about 30 mph when a large dog came out of nowhere and ran into my back wheel (!) - my head and the helmet hit the road on the right front side; I'm sure the helmet's chin bar saved me from a broken jaw, and I didn't even have a headache afterwards.(2) I crashed going downhill on a steep dirt track (tires got caught in a rut), and landed face down; my face and the helmet landed on my chin, but no injury or soreness.The helmet is well-padded and well-ventilated, and the paint has retained its glossy shine.The flip-top option is extremely convenient, and necessary for me, as where I live (Thailand) there are a lot of vehicles that pollute badly, and I sometimes need to use a smog mask.I've had one problem - the plastic lever that opens the flip-top broke recently when I was opening the helmet.HJC customer service was excellent.First they sent me the replacement part for free.Then they answered my emails promptly and helpfully when I needed help figuring out how to get inside the chin section to replace the part.One other thing - I've noticed that at times the chin bar will click when closing it, but is not fully locked in place, and needs an extra tug (which causes a second click) to fully secure it.This is not happening now that I've replaced the chin bar, so my guess is that it was caused by a loose screw that attached the chin bar, causing one side to close and click slightly before the other side.I'd give this helmet 4 and a half stars (but there are no half-star rating increments available with Amazon).

It's a very cool looking helmet in the pictures. It also fits really well if you fit well in HJC helmets like I do. However, they put so much padding or whatever to make it DOT/SNELL compliant that it's a massive helmet. It adds 3 inches to each side of your head giving you a cartoon-ish appearance. I honestly wouldn't recommend it. Part of the reason for a half helmet is appearance and the sheer size of it ruins the look.
At least visit a store to try it on first.

It's everything I looked for.Great fit, Very nice face shield, seals great, has high quality feel and several detents for partially open, etc.Visor is a touch shorter than a full off road MX style helmet, which is good at road speeds.Up to 60 mph or so...buffeting is not bad.Faster, I would say be careful.Any visor is gonna start to pull your head around as the wind picks up...but yes...visor is worth having, really blocks the low sun morning/eve.Fogging is very minimal except when I rode a few times at 35 degrees out, even then, only when stopped.

For Dual Sport riders, this is a great helmet. I hated to pay 400 bucks for it but did and am very glad.The cheekpads are removable and for 40 bucks, you can get thinner/thicker ones for a PERFECT feel.

What pushed me over the edge to buy was the feel, specifically...large ear pockets inside this helmet=NO crushed ears.I hate that!

The only real quality competitor to this model is the Arai XD, which is also a very nice helmet, fit, etc. BUT...visor is longer and I bet grabs more air=more wind buffeting on the street. For buzzing around town either would be good though. I did try both the Shoei and Arai on, then settled on the Shoei becuase of price and the shorter visor.A bonus I did not expect but got with this, is MUCH more peripheral vision than any of my street helmets in the past!

Lastly, Simpson makes a helmet of this type but the quality is not up to par.I wanted to buy American but nothing about it matched the Arai or Shoei.Too bad.I used to buy only Simpson.

The Good: Comfortable and snug fit. Compared to my old helmet this KBC has more padding. I love the easy snap release buckle. The color design on the helmet matches my scooter's colors.

The not so Good: Make sure to measure your head before ordering. My old helmet was a small size, so I ordered a small KBC helmet. Padding was much thicker making it too small. I sent that back and reordered a medium which fit just right.

Also, this helmet has a bit more wind noise compared to my old helmet. Though I think it vents more air into the helmet.

Two weeks ago I crashed on the highway and did a face plant into the concrete at 75 MPH, then bounced across three lanes of traffic, all while wearing this helmet.Not a scratch on my face or head, and no head or neck injuries at all after slamming my head into the road at least 7 different times.

Not only did it protect me in my crash, but I had put in a few hundred hours of riding while wearing this helmet, and loved it.The easy access of the modular style is why I bought this helmet, but I also benefited from it's superior design.The helmet vents well while riding, is lightweight, and has very little drag (I ride a cruiser without a windshield) so the fatigue factor is minimal.

I would recommend this helmet to anybody who rides, and am buying another one myself to replace the one that just helped save my life.

I used this helmet to ride my KLR to Alaska and was very pleased with it. It is a bit fragile and adventure riding is tough on equipment. I broke the chin air vent and cracked one of the rear back vents. I would also recommend getting a fog shield of some sort if you are heading for cold weather. Visibility is fantastic and I found it to be fairly quiet (some knock it because it is loud) but you have a huge shield and that just isn't going to be as quiet as a helmet with a narrow eye slot. The shield doesn't pull your head nearly as much as I was lead to believe either. I sold mine when I got back with the bike but I will get another for my next ride.

I bought this helmet two months ago and have enjoyed it on all my local rides.

Fit: I think it fits a little bigger than most other brands.I wear size L on most full-face helmets (Shoei, KBC, HJC, etc.)and open-face Vega helmet.Sparx FC-07's medium size fits me perfectly.

Ventilation: There is definitely plenty of air coming under the shield but it's not uncomfortable or unbearable. When the face shield is completely closed, I see a bit of fog only when I'm stopped at the traffic light but it'll disappear as soon as I start going.Since I don't intend to take my scooter out on the freeway, I cannot comment on the ventication.Frankly, I will only wear full-face helmets on freeways.

Price:Absolutely affordable.

Safety: I was looking for open-face helmet that meets at least 2 safety certification standards.There aren't many to choose from (weighing in the design/price factors too) that are both safe and nice to look at.The under-$100 helmets are mostly just DOT certified, which I don't feel safe wearing.This helmet is both DOT and ECE certified.I feel that it carries more credits on the safety measures.Usually, even if a helmet meets ECE standards, if it is not being sold in Europe, it cannot bear the ECE sticker.This one has the ECE sticker on it.

Style/Design: I was so happy to have found this helmet. It was very challenging to find a nicely designed light color helmet to match a bright-colored scooter.The white/orange/black tone is both elegant and lively.

I will definitely recommend this helmet for surface street riding.

I have had this helmet for awhile now and can offer an accurate opinion. My medium fits me perfect. It is snug but not too tight, although until broken in it is more snug than later. If you are touring and will be taking this helmet off all day, your ears may get rubbed somewhat raw.(the back of my ears do) This helmet is very quiet, although I almost always wear ear plugs. I installed a NOJ Quiet Rider fabric insert on the bottom of the helmet and it really makes a helmet much quieter. I had one on my last helmet also, took it off once while on a trip, put it back on before I went 10 miles. This helmet is also very light; in fact, it is one of the lightest helmets available. I have a white one because I think a white helmet or one with a primary color (red, blue, yellow etc.) is more easily seen by others, especially at night or under dim conditions. The ventilation is good, not great, but decent enough and I live in the Phoenix area. The faceshield is one of the best out there. It is easy to remove and install, is nice and thick with good clarity, and operates smoothly. Compare the faceshield to a different brand helmet and you will see what I mean. This helmet is also priced well, as I consider it a premium lid. Oh, it also looks nice and has a clean aero shape.

This helmet does it all, as far as I am concerned.It is comfortable and terrifically utilitarian.But the thing that makes this helmet superior to all the others is the sun visor system.There is a separate sun visor beneath the face shield that comes down by simply moving a lever on top of the helmet and, in contrast to other similar helmets of which I am aware, the sun visor instantly springs back into the helmet with the push of a button.I can't recount the number of times while riding when I suddenly faced into the sun.All that it took was a quick motion to deploy the sun visor and eliminate the sun glare.When I no longer needed it, I pressed the button on top of the helmet and POOF!, the visor was gone.
The price for the helmet is also great.I have never understood the need to spend hundreds of dollars for a helmet when the same degree of safety is available for much less.
I am one of those people who is never satisfied.I am always searching for something better.In this case, however, I am not looking for another helmet.This helmet works great for me!

I've used these for a few years on all three of my vehicles.They were great for a while, but they can get difficult to see whether it is green, yellow, or red with brake dust and condensation inside.On one of my cars, I heard a noise when I was moving on the front driver's side, so I replaced the caliper and bearing, but the noise persisted.Thanks to my incredibly smart mechanic, he found that the noise was the tire because the pressure was low --- BUT the Tire Minder was green.

I just bought a plastic set with a different design at Advance Auto Parts, so the testing begins.

[Update 4/19/06] I bought that plastic set and the tire service place had to replace the valve stem because the plastic thing melted to the valve stem.Oh well, back to manually checking pressures.:(

These lights are basically toys; don't expect any real durability here; the shell is plastic.That being said, when they have good batteries there are surprisingly bright!

Unfortunately mine came with a bunch of bad batteries -- what a waste!Once I put good batteries in, they worked well.

Keep in mind you need to manually turn these on and off; there are other kinds that will automatically turn on when you start biking.It's up to you which you would prefer.

I brought a set of valve stem tire pressure guages hoping that I don't have to check the tire pressure again.

The pressure gauge is made three parts:
- A metal valve stem tire cap that thread to the valve stem.
- A clear see through plastic cap on top of the metal cap.
- A color stick (yellow, green, or red) inside the plastic cap that sticks out when tire pressure is low.

Out of the box, the color stick indicator is visible since there is no pressure exerts on it. When it it putting on the value stem on the tire, the stick will be invisible if the pressure is above the designed psi.

So you don't have to bend down and check the tire pressure again by just walking around the car and see if any of the gauge has color stick visible on it. If it is, you need to add more air to the tire.

You can buy the Valve Stem Tire Pressure Guages at 32, 36psi.

However, after just one day of use, out of four gauges, one has its plastic cap and yellow stick falling off and the other has its yellow stick comming out even thought the pressure is correct. So DOA at 50%.That is totally unacceptable for a simple device like this.

Appears ALL of these items are old or have been stored improperly. Total number of batteries received: 12 per package. Total number of live batteries: 0 Total number of dead batteries: 48 Note: EVERY battery had leaked acid. Batteries preinstalled in each unit, leaked causing considerable internal damage. Replacement batteries were all dead with some, having leaked.

Removed innerworkings of 1 item, cleaned and installed new batteries and found it to work just fine. Bottom line here? Don't waste your money on this item!

My pack came with drained batteries -- bummer!Once I got these juiced up, they worked well. They turn on when the wheel is spinning -- no need to turn them on and off.Of course that means that you'll waste some battery during the daytime, but you can always buy the other kind that are manual on/off.

These valve caps are really nice looking, and a good way to put a subtle touch-up on your ride (as long as it's a Cadillac).They feel expensive, not cheap, and look it too.The logo on the top of the cap is bigger than you might expect, and visible from a good distance when the car is stopped.They also shine nicely in the sun, and fit very tightly to the tire valve.

Only complaint is the rubber O-ring on the inside seems to come out about 1/4 of the time when you remove the cap to fill your tires.I haven't had one get lost yet - it usually stay sitting on top of the exposed valve - but I think the maker should have sealed the gasket in the hollow of the cap somehow.Not a big deal if you lose one - the O-ring is secondary to the valve itself and provides very little additional sealing, but it's part of the product and would drive a guy like me to distraction trying to find a lost one.

Other than that, these are great, and I would definitely buy them again.The keychain wrench is easy to use and also looks nice - I would have that on my keychain, except I already have a leather Cadillac keyfob thingy, and while gold is nice as a tough-up, it's a bit to "blingy" for me to have right on my keychain.Still looks nice, though - just stash it in your center console or glove box.

According to the other reviewer, these valve covers are made of plastic. That solves a problem for me and I'll buy them. Recent Porsches have TPMS, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Steel valve caps interfere with transmissions from the pressure sensor in the wheel, so the owner's manual warns explicitly against their use. Plastic caps will do just fine.

I may come back and change my review to a five or a three after I use them for a while, but being made of plastic is not a deficiency, it's the only kind we can use on our cars.

I have had my unit for over six months and the batteries are still very strong.

I have many tire pressure gauges which include both analog and digital types. What I really like about this one is that it won't let out any air when you take a measurement of tire pressure at the stem valve. This characteristic is important because even slight escape of air will affect tire pressure.

Cons:
*Did not make my vehicle go any faster or improve my gas mileage.
*These shiny chrome additions did not turn my car into a "chick magnet" ... as I was hoping they would.

These caps did not come with any instructions so I have included the following hints, which I learned from my own experience:

*Install the caps when the vehicle is stopped.It is very difficult to install these on a moving vehicle.
*Turn them in a clockwise direction.For some reason counter-clockwise does not seem to work.
*Remove the caps before trying to inflate the tires.
*Despite the fact that they are covered with a shiny silver-like metal.Do not present these to your wife on your 25th anniversary as your gift.

OK, I'll be serious.These seem to be well made and durable.What else can you say about valve stem caps.I'm happy with mine.

I bought these because the tire caps that came with my new car were stolen and the replacement price from the dealer was ridiculous.These look decent if you just need the aluminum look because the chrome is a little over the top for your wheels.

You get 8 of the valve caps and then two mini tire pressure gauges.The gauges work fine, and read very close to the actual pressure in the tires.

The reason I marked it down a star is that on one of my valve caps the plastic threaded lining on the inside actually came apart, causing the cap to just spin on the valve.It still hasn't fallen off but it's just a matter of time.I only had that problem on one of them though.
